Dr Veronica Johnston (She/Her)

PRINCIPAL PSYCHOLOGIST

Veronica holds dual qualifications as a clinical psychologist and registered teacher. She has over 15 years experience working with children and adolescents, providing emotional, educational, and behavioural support to her clients as well as their family and schools. Veronica also has a passion for women's mental health and works with many adults experiencing mental health difficulties.

Anxiety, depression, trauma, adjustment disorder, grief and loss, behavioural difficulties, parenting support for families, neurodevelopmental disorders (ASD, ADHD), relationship issues, school or peer related difficulties.

Dr Nicole Sloan (She/Her)

PRINCIPAL PSYCHOLOGIST

Nicole holds dual qualifications as a registered psychologist and a registered mental health nurse. She has ten years experience working in public mental health in forensic psychiatry providing care and treatment to adults with serious mental illnesses and complex needs. Nicole also has an interest in working with people who have chronic health conditions and difficulties adjusting to their physical illness.

Anxiety, depression, trauma, adjustment disorder, grief and loss, adjustment to illness, low prevalence conditions (e.g., schizophrenia, bipolar affective disorder).

 

Maddison Jarratt (She/Her)

PRINCIPAL PSYCHOLOGIST

Maddison is a registered Psychologist and board approved supervisor under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Maddison brings a warm, compassionate, and client-centered approach, and draws from a range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as CBT, ACT, DBT, and mindfulness. Maddison is also a Certified Eating Disorder Clinician (CEDC) with the Australia and New Zealand Academy for Eating Disorders.

With a focus on treating individuals across the lifespan, Maddison has a particular interest in working with children and adolescents. Maddison brings valuable experience in addressing the mental health needs of neurodivergent and neurotypical children under 12, tackling a wide range of social, emotional, and behavioural challenges.

Maddison provides supervision to Psychologists (including provisional) and other health professionals.

Isabelle Gardiner (She/Her)

CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST

Isabelle is a clinical psychologist with several years experience working in a range of public and community health settings. She provides evidence-based therapeutic approaches to support adults of all ages who are experiencing mental health concerns. Isabelle has a passion for improving the mental health of older adults and working with individuals to manage their physical health concerns.

Camilla Franklin (She/Her)

PSYCHOLOGIST

Camilla is a registered psychologist with extensive experience working in the public mental health sector in addition to private practice. Her understanding of a broad range of evidence-based therapies allow her to provide unique and individualised treatment for each person aimed at reaching their identified goals. Camilla believes a vital part of effective treatment is building a strong therapeutic relationship which emphasises a sense of safety and trust. This foundation enables you to look curiously and non-judgmentally at challenging thoughts, emotions, behaviours and experiences. Camilla has confidence in an individual’s capacity to recover from mental and emotional pain and therefore has an abundance of hope and belief in the work you will do together.

Siahn Duxson (She/Her)

PSYCHOLOGIST

Siahn is a psychologist holding a Masters of Professional Psychology. Siahn has experience working with diverse populations in a crisis support role and practises in a client-focused, non-judgemental and collaborative nature. She uses evidence-based interventions and therapies to work compassionately alongside clients to support and empower them to reach their personal goals.

Brayden McLeod (He/Him)

PSYCHOLOGIST

Brayden is a registered psychologist with experience working with clients in private clinics, schools, and forensic settings. Brayden provides evidence-based therapeutic interventions to assist adolescents and adults who are experiencing mental health concerns, in a manner that is empathic and supportive. Bernie Rogerson (She/Her)

CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST

Bernie is a registered psychologist with qualifications in business, forensic mental health, and clinical psychology. She has worked across various workplaces including forensic settings, public and private mental health services. Bernie works across all ages and from a strength-based approach with compassionate and empathy towards recovery orientated practice. Bernie draws from various evidence-based interventions including CBT, ACT, motivational interviewing, dialectical behaviour therapy, attachment-based family therapy, schema therapy and mindfulness.

Disha Sasan (She/Her)

PSYCHOLOGIST

Disha is a registered psychologist who has experience and a passion for working with neurodivergent and neurotypical children under the age of 12 who may be struggling with a range of mental health concerns including, but not limited to, social, emotional, and behavioural challenges. She uses a holistic approach in her work, ensuring that support is provided to families and schools as well. Disha also runs social and emotional learning groups with children between 6 and 11, using play-based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Therapy. Additionally, she has experience working with adults experiencing a variety of mental health concerns. 

Disha endeavours to provide an empathetic, individualised, evidence-based and client-centred approach to those experiencing mental health concerns. She has experience conducting cognitive and educational assessments.

Mandeep Kour

PSYCHOLOGIST

Mandeep, a registered psychologist, brings a wealth of experience from her work in both forensic and community settings. Her expertise extends to clients facing complex challenges, including those with dual diagnoses of mental health and substance use issues, as well as other high-risk complexities.

Mandeep is dedicated to delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions aimed at helping clients make profound and meaningful changes in their lives. She firmly believes that personal growth thrives in an environment that fosters honesty, authenticity, and even a touch of humor when needed!

Joanne Richardson (She/Her)

ACCREDITED MENTAL HEALTH SOCIAL WORKER

Joanne is an accredited  mental health social worker with over 25 years’ experience working in a diverse range of public and primary mental health settings.  She has extensive experience providing counselling for anxiety, depression, psychosis, substance use and eating disorders.

Joanne has a down to earth and practical approach to counselling utilising an eclectic range of evidence based strategies.  Her main therapeutic approaches include:  CBT, MET, DBT, ACT and mindfulness.

Leon Martin

ACCREDITED MENTAL HEALTH OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

Leon is an Accredited Mental Health Occupational Therapist who holds a Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy. He has worked in the mental health field for a decade in a wide variety of settings including triage, high acuity, community mental health, child and adolescent mental health, and offshore detention. His work has taken him across remote rural/regional areas, regional hubs and in major capital cities. Leon adopts a collaborative approach working with clients to help shape the sessions and allowing them space to create and refine their own goals for therapy. Leon draws from various therapeutic modalities including cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), emotionally focused therapies (EFIT), solution focused brief therapy (SFBT), motivational interviewing and mindfulness. Leon is passionate about improving mental health outcomes and changing the stigma around asking for help for young men and males, especially those in non metro areas with less access to mental health services. Leon's goal is to help clients overcome barriers in order to achieve their full potential.

Adam Stefano

PSYCHOLOGIST

Adam is a warm and engaging, person-centred psychologist, who uses evidence-based therapies such as Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Solution Focussed Therapy. Adam has a particular interest working with couples and individuals to assist working towards better life outcomes. Adam has experience with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship counselling and addiction - including gambling.

Elle Vilic

SOCIAL WORKER

Elle holds dual qualifications as a Social Worker and Counsellor. She is passionate about providing a safe space where clients can explore any concerns freely and without judgement.  Elle has experience working across many settings such as, Child Protection, Hospital, Education, Family Violence NGO, Employee Assist Counselling (EAP), Couples Counselling and private practice. She has spent time volunteering in Palliative Care and believes it a privilege and an honour to spend time with people in this space.  

Elle works alongside clients to help and support them in re-discovering and un-covering courage, inner resources, and strengths. This allows Elle’s clients to work through what is troubling them and getting in the way of their joy and happiness. She understands everyone’s life circumstances are unique and aims to help her clients achieve meaningful and lasting changes. This may at times seem unattainable, but absolutely possible with the right help and support.  

Elle utilises a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches and is trained in Emotion-Focused Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). She would like to help adolescents and adults explore their mental health concerns.

Leah is a dedicated professional, holding registrations as an ACA-registered counselor and a provisional psychologist. With extensive experience working across diverse age groups, from children to adolescents and adults, Leah has made a positive impact in both community and private settings. Leah's journey in the field has included invaluable roles within the out-of-home care sector and family services organisations. Her expertise extends to facilitating transformative parent and adolescent groups, where she emphasizes emotion coaching and mindfulness-based practices.

A focal point of Leah's practice is providing guidance and support to individuals who have faced traumatic and challenging life experiences. Her goal is to help them navigate these challenges within a nurturing and secure environment. Leah's approach to therapy is rooted in trauma-informed care, emphasising collaboration with her clients. In addition to her work with children, Jess also provides therapy for adults facing issues like anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, interpersonal difficulties, and general mental health concerns.

Nida is a provisional psychologist who specialises in working with children, adolescents, adults and their families. She has completed a Bachelor & Honours of science in Psychology. She has completed online training in Play therapy course and is currently registered in 4+2 internship pathway with AHPRA working towards general registration. ACCREDITED MENTAL HEALTH SOCIAL WORKER

Nicky is a Mental Health Social worker with a passion for equipping clients with practical tools. With over 20 years’ experience in the Mental Health space in Acute/Emergency, Community and Trauma response. I work across the spectrum. I meet people where they are at and highlight strengths and allow the individual to reflect on solutions, empowering positive change. I have a Graduate Certificate in Drug and Alcohol studies and I am currently completing a Diploma in clinical hypnotherapy/strategic psychotherapy with the Australian institute of applied psychology.

Appropriate Referrals Include: 

Trauma informed care, anxiety, depression, PTSD, Anxiety, Adjustment disorder, anger, substance abuse, mental health and skills to self soothe and learning how to break negative patterns. Schema therapy, CBT, Hypnotherapy. Anyone that wants to learn more about who they are.

Alex Wynd

PSYCHOLOGIST

Alex successfully completed a Doctor of Clinical Psychology degree in 2016 and is currently a registered psychologist with clinical endorsement. He is also a proud member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Alex has a research background in the fields of depression, headaches, and epilepsy, and he brings with him a wealth of experience, having practiced for 8.5 years in a private practice setting.

Alex provides comprehensive assessments and generates reports for individuals who are seeking support through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) or the Disability Support Pension (DSP). Additionally, he offers various other assessment services to cater to different needs.

REGISTERED NURSE & MIDWIFE

Gabby is a Registered Nurse and Midwife with over 20 years experience in both rural and tertiary hospital settings, and public and private midwifery settings. She has also worked with new mothers in their homes and for the past 12 years has mentored midwifery & nursing students to start out in the profession. Gabby has a passion for empowering women and supporting them through the physical and emotional complexities that surround pregnancy and beyond. She has significant experience in lactation support and an enthusiasm for reinforcing and bolstering people's confidence as they embark on their journey into motherhood. Gabby also recognises the pivotal role the whole family play in supporting each other, particularly mothers, during this time and promotes supportive decision making to assist the development of secure attachments for the baby.

 

Dr Louise Hayes

Melissa Van Styn (She/Her)

Melissa is a Clinical Psychologist and board-approved supervisor with over a decade of experience providing evidence-based psychological therapy. She has previously held roles in the public mental health sector providing crisis support and has several years of experience working with clients of all ages in private services.

Melissa has a compassionate, collaborative and client-centred approach with a focus on seeking client feedback to tailor therapy for each client’s unique needs. Melissa aims to provide a safe and supportive therapeutic space for children, adolescents, parents, and adults.

Phil holds a Masters in Clinical Psychology and has experience working in hospital, forensic and community settings. Stephanie Lau (She/Her)

EDUCATIONAL & DEVELOPMENTAL PSYCHOLOGIST

Stephanie (Steph) is an Educational and Developmental Psychologist. She holds experience in the assessment and treatment of neurodivergent conditions, including autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), intellectual disability and learning difficulties.

Stephanie has a breadth of experience from her various roles, including at the Royal Children’s Hospital, where she is a Senior Psychologist in the Specialist Autism Team. Stephanie has undertaken additional training in the area of infant mental health and is passionate about healthy parent-child attachment relationships and wellbeing over the developmental lifespan.

Stephanie has a consultation/supervision role and does not accept client referrals.

 

Belynda Evans (She/Her)

CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST

Belynda is a Clinical Psychologist who has held Senior Clinical Psychologist roles in both public mental health and a leading paediatric hospital, as well as having worked in schools and early intervention settings. Belynda is a board approved supervisor and has over a decade of experience working with children, adolescents and perinatal women. Belynda uses a range of evidence-based treatments tailored to her clients needs and enjoys working collaboratively with young people and their families.

Belynda has a consultation/supervision role and does not accept client referrals.

RECEPTIONIST

Cheryl has over nine years of experience in allied health administration and her dedication definitely shines through. She takes immense pride in delivering warm, welcoming, and empathetic support customised to meet each client's unique needs.

Cheryl also provides support to our Practice Manager.
