Dr Veronica Johnston (She/Her)

MANAGING DIRECTOR

Veronica holds dual qualifications as a clinical psychologist and registered teacher. She has over 15 years experience working with children and adolescents, providing emotional, educational, and behavioural support to her clients as well as their family and schools. Veronica also has a passion for women's mental health and works with many adults experiencing mental health difficulties.

Dr Nicole Sloan (She/Her)

PRINCIPAL PSYCHOLOGIST

Nicole holds dual qualifications as a registered psychologist and a registered mental health nurse. She has ten years experience working in public mental health in forensic psychiatry providing care and treatment to adults with serious mental illnesses and complex needs. Nicole also has an interest in working with people who have chronic health conditions and difficulties adjusting to their physical illness.

Maddison Jarratt (She/Her)

PRINCIPAL PSYCHOLOGIST

Maddison is a registered Psychologist and Board Approved Supervisor under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), as well as a Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician (CEDC) with the Australia and New Zealand Academy for Eating Disorders (ANZAED). Maddison brings a warm, compassionate, and client-centered approach, drawing from a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including CBT, ACT, DBT, EMDR, and CBT-E.

With a focus on supporting individuals across the lifespan, Maddison has a particular interest in working within the perinatal space, as well as helping parents navigate the unique mental health challenges of pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood. She is also passionate about working with neurodiverse clients, supporting them in overcoming social, emotional, and behavioral challenges, and helping them thrive in their unique strengths.

In addition to these areas, Maddison has a special interest in sports performance, working with athletes to enhance resilience, improve focus, and achieve peak performance. Her approach is tailored to each client, addressing both personal and professional growth.

Maddison provides supervision to registered and provisional psychologists, as well as other health professionals.

Isabelle is a clinical psychologist with several years experience working in a range of public and community health settings. Camilla is a registered psychologist with extensive experience working in the public mental health sector in addition to private practice. Her understanding of a broad range of evidence-based therapies allow her to provide unique and individualised treatment for each person aimed at reaching their identified goals. Camilla believes a vital part of effective treatment is building a strong therapeutic relationship which emphasises a sense of safety and trust. PSYCHOLOGIST

Siahn is a psychologist holding a Masters of Professional Psychology. Siahn has experience working with diverse populations in a crisis support role and practises in a client-focused, non-judgemental and collaborative nature. Brayden is a registered psychologist with experience working with clients in private clinics, schools, and forensic settings. Bernie Rogerson (She/Her)

CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST

Bernie is a registered psychologist with qualifications in business, forensic mental health, and clinical psychology. She has worked across various workplaces including forensic settings, public and private mental health services. Bernie works across all ages and from a strength-based approach with compassionate and empathy towards recovery orientated practice. Bernie draws from various evidence-based interventions including CBT, ACT, motivational interviewing, dialectical behaviour therapy, attachment-based family therapy, schema therapy and mindfulness.

Disha Sasan (She/Her)

PSYCHOLOGIST

Disha is a registered psychologist who has experience and a passion for working with neurodivergent and neurotypical children under the age of 12 who may be struggling with a range of mental health concerns including, but not limited to, social, emotional, and behavioural challenges. She uses a holistic approach in her work, ensuring that support is provided to families and schools as well. Disha also runs social and emotional learning groups with children between 6 and 11, using play-based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Therapy. Additionally, she has experience working with adults experiencing a variety of mental health concerns. 

Disha endeavours to provide an empathetic, individualised, evidence-based and client-centred approach to those experiencing mental health concerns. She has experience conducting cognitive and educational assessments.

Mandeep Kour

PSYCHOLOGIST

Mandeep, a registered psychologist, brings a wealth of experience from her work in both forensic and community settings. Her expertise encompasses clients facing complex challenges, including those with dual diagnoses of mental health and substance use issues, as well as other high-risk complexities.

In addition to her work with adults, Mandeep provides therapy for children, including those with neurodevelopmental disorders. She addresses challenges such as anxiety, school refusal, behavioral issues, emotional regulation difficulties, developmental trauma, and family or relationship issues.

Joanne Richardson (She/Her)

ACCREDITED MENTAL HEALTH SOCIAL WORKER

Joanne is an accredited  mental health social worker with over 25 years’ experience working in a diverse range of public and primary mental health settings.  She has extensive experience providing counselling for anxiety, depression, psychosis, substance use and eating disorders.

Joanne has a down to earth and practical approach to counselling utilising an eclectic range of evidence based strategies.  Her main therapeutic approaches include:  CBT, MET, DBT, ACT and mindfulness.

Leon Martin

ACCREDITED MENTAL HEALTH OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

Leon is an Accredited Mental Health Occupational Therapist who holds a Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy. He has worked in the mental health field for a decade in a wide variety of settings including triage, high acuity, community mental health, child and adolescent mental health, and offshore detention. His work has taken him across remote rural/regional areas, regional hubs and in major capital cities. Leon adopts a collaborative approach working with clients to help shape the sessions and allowing them space to create and refine their own goals for therapy. Leon draws from various therapeutic modalities including cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), emotionally focused therapies (EFIT), solution focused brief therapy (SFBT), motivational interviewing and mindfulness. Leon is passionate about improving mental health outcomes and changing the stigma around asking for help for young men and males, especially those in non metro areas with less access to mental health services. Leon's goal is to help clients overcome barriers in order to achieve their full potential.

Adam Stefano

PSYCHOLOGIST

Adam is a warm and engaging, person-centred psychologist, who uses evidence-based therapies such as Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Solution Focussed Therapy. Adam has a particular interest working with couples and individuals to assist working towards better life outcomes. Adam has experience with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship counselling and addiction - including gambling.

Elle Vilic

SOCIAL WORKER

Elle holds dual qualifications as a Social Worker and Counsellor. She is passionate about providing a safe space where clients can explore any concerns freely and without judgement.  Elle has experience working across many settings such as, Child Protection, Hospital, Education, Family Violence NGO, Employee Assist Counselling (EAP), Couples Counselling and private practice. She has spent time volunteering in Palliative Care and believes it a privilege and an honour to spend time with people in this space.  

Elle works alongside clients to help and support them in re-discovering and un-covering courage, inner resources, and strengths. This allows Elle’s clients to work through what is troubling them and getting in the way of their joy and happiness. She understands everyone’s life circumstances are unique and aims to help her clients achieve meaningful and lasting changes. This may at times seem unattainable, but absolutely possible with the right help and support.  

Elle utilises a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches and is trained in Emotion-Focused Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). She would like to help adolescents and adults explore their mental health concerns.

Leah is a dedicated professional, holding registrations as an ACA-registered counselor and a provisional psychologist. With extensive experience working across diverse age groups, from children to adolescents and adults, Leah has made a positive impact in both community and private settings. Leah's journey in the field has included invaluable roles within the out-of-home care sector and family services organisations. Her expertise extends to facilitating transformative parent and adolescent groups, where she emphasizes emotion coaching and mindfulness-based practices.

A focal point of Leah's practice is providing guidance and support to individuals who have faced traumatic and challenging life experiences. Her goal is to help them navigate these challenges within a nurturing and secure environment. Leah's approach to therapy is rooted in trauma-informed care, emphasising collaboration with her clients. Nida Zahra

PROVISIONAL PSYCHOLOGIST

Nida is a provisional psychologist who specialises in working with children, adolescents, adults and their families. She has completed a Bachelor & Honours of science in Psychology. She has completed online training in Play therapy course and is currently registered in 4+2 internship pathway with AHPRA working towards general registration. Nida has worked with clients in private clinics, schools, childcare settings, as well as the community at large. Nida provides evidence-based therapeutic interventions to assist children, adolescents and adults who are experiencing mental health concerns, in a manner that is empathic and supportive.

Jacinta is a provisional psychologist working with adolescents and adults, providing an empathetic client-centred approach. With 6 months experience in the forensic field and extensive experience in crisis intervention alongside her master’s degree, Jacinta brings a comprehensive knowledge base that spans various contexts, including drug and alcohol counselling.

Her commitment lies in empowering individuals through the cultivation of a non-judgemental and compassionate environment. Grace Leaming

PROVISIONAL PSYCHOLOGIST

Grace is a Provisional Psychologist holding a Master of Professional Psychology and Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, with over 5 years of experience working with children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Cognitive Impairment, and other disabilities. Grace has also spent this time working with young people identifying as LGBTQIA+.

Grace employs evidence-based therapeutics to best support and empower clients to meet their goals. Grace’s approach is client-centred, working closely with clients to achieve the best outcomes. Grace prioritises kindness, curiosity, and empathy in her practise.

Abbey Sawyer

Abbey is a Registered Psychologist and Sexologist. She holds a Master of Science in Medicine degree, specialising in psychosexual therapy, and has completed Bachelor degrees in Psychological Science and Criminology, alongside a Postgraduate degree in Psychology. Abbey is passionate about the interlink between psychological health and sexuality, and enjoys supporting people of all ages, genders, and cultural backgrounds to enrich their sexual lives and improve their mental health. She has a particular clinical interest in sexual OCD and supporting men with ejaculatory dysfunction and sexual anxiety. Abbey also enjoys working with parents to provide age appropriate sex education and supporting young autistic people with concerning sexualised behaviours.

Jarryd is a registered psychologist with experience working in community health and family violence. He brings a friendly and warm approach to working with people. Claire Foster

PSYCHOLOGIST

Claire isa generally registered psychologist who works with adolescents and adults and has completed a Master of Psychology (Professional) at Curtin University, and have since worked at Headspace and in private practice.

Claire is authentic, warm, and friendly person who values the positive outcomes that come from establishing a safe, collaborative, and non-judgemental therapeutic relationship. She like to work from a strengths-based approach where I get to know each individual and work in a way that best suits them.

Claire enjoys working with people from all backgrounds and experiences, including LGBTIQA+, culturally diverse, and neurodiverse individuals. Using cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing, and works using a neurodiversity affirming approach. Cheryl has over nine years of experience in allied health administration and her dedication definitely shines through. She takes immense pride in delivering warm, welcoming, and empathetic support customised to meet each client's unique needs.

Cheryl also provides support to our Practice Manager.
