How to Get Started

  • Schedule an initial consultation through our online portal or call us at 9534 0611.

  • Develop a customised therapeutic plan tailored to your specific needs and goals.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Visiting a psychologist can be beneficial for individuals experiencing emotional or psychological difficulties, such as anxiety, depression, stress, relationship issues, trauma, or navigating difficult life transitions.

If you are struggling with persistent negative emotions, significant changes in behaviour, or difficulty coping with daily life, seeking professional help from a psychologist can provide valuable support and guidance.

  • We use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and other therapies tailored to individual needs to effectively manage and reduce symptoms.

  • We provide psychological treatment under the Australian Government’s Better Access to Mental Health Care initiative. If you are eligible for a Mental Health Care plan, available from your GP, you may be able to access a rebate (for a maximum of 10 sessions per calendar year). Please note, a gap fee will apply and will vary depending on your referral needs.

We also accept referrals from other funding bodies such as TAC, Workcover, NDIS, VOCAT, WRISC, and Open Arms. Similarly, a gap fee may apply. Please contact the clinic to discuss fees and any possible out of pocket costs.

You do not need to have a Mental Health Care Plan or other funding body to attend sessions, you may wish to pay privately, but it does assist in reducing costs for you.

  • The duration of therapy varies depending on individual needs and progress. Some people may benefit from short-term therapy, while others might require a longer-term approach.
